Hey there, I’m Amanda Riley!
Most days you can find me in the salon doing hair, your local coffee shop, hiking Griffith Park or Disneyland! I am most known for my expert hair coloring skills specifically blondes, coppers & brunettes! I love serving the world one bowl of color at a time by giving you time off from your daily routine, an ear to listen to or your #dreamhair!
The things I am most passionate about are: my husband, our puppy Wendy, establishing long-term relationships with clients and growing the beauty industry community in Los Angeles through my educational event, The Glow Social!
I love serving people who are looking for a home in a salon; a place to feel comfortable in & build a relationship with their hair stylist by creating trust knowing that I will preserve the integrity of your hair all while making steps toward your #dreamhair! I am lucky to show clients how to create longevity in their hair by suggesting styling tips, products for home and lower-maintenance color!
As a hair stylist I’ve been spotlighted on numerous blogs, worked on various sets and been featured in fashion magazines. I’ve spent my career focusing on continued education and received the highest form of Wella colorist certification in February of 2016. This certification has allowed me to focus on the chemist side of hair coloring and helping shape the future of young colorists to come!
When I’m not busy working on hair you can catch me watching The Bachelor on Monday nights in my jammies, strolling the streets of Los Feliz with my puppy Wendy, on weekend getaways or growing my business!
If you’re dying to learn more here’s 5 things you might not know about me! 1: I love a good margarita with a side of chips & guac 2: I was homeschooled which means I’m ultra close with my family so you’ll hear a lot about them 3: I met my husband by cutting his hair at his rock concert in Colorado where he told me “I’m going to be your boyfriend” 4: you can us scream singing to Moana “How Far I’ll Go” on almost any long distance drive 5: I grew up on a farm in Colorado where I had LOTS of animals as pets!
